This is a song that means a lot to me, especially because it gives some visibility to the trans community.
The singer is called Robin Daniel Skinner, also known as Cavetown, and he was born on 15th December 1998 in Oxford, England. He sings/plays different genres of music like indie pop; bedroom pop; indie rock; lo-fi and indie folk.
Some of his music talks about how it is to be a transgender, how people feel with the dysphoria, and how it feels to be in a body which, in a certain way, "does not belong to you". Transgender people, as him, deserve to know and understand that they are not alone in their journey and I think that, maybe, if we talked more about this, they'd feel that they have a place in our society and make some of them understand that they are as valid as cisgender people.
