On November 5th,2021, a very famous Brazilian singer named Marília Mendonça was going to perform a show in Caratinga, Minas Gerais. Around 3:30 pm, firefighters received a call about an aircraft that had crashed.
According to the teams , there was a strong odor of fuel, but there were no flames and no risk of the aircraft submerging. When firefighters arrived, they saw that the aircraft had crashed into a waterfall which was very difficult to access. They had to break down the aircraft door to rescue the bodies, hoping to find survivors. The accident involved the singer Marília Mendonça, producers Henrique Ribeiro, Abicieli Silveira Dias, pilot Geraldo Martins de Medeiros and co-pilot Tarciso Pessoa Viana. Unfortunately, all of them died due to the impact.
Marília Mendonça was a very famous Brazilian singer, aged 26 years old, a mother of a 3-year-old son Léo Dias Mendonça Huff. She had many fans and she had already composed many songs since he was12, such as "Ciumeira" and "Todo mundo vai sofrer". Nowadays, many fans pay homage to the singer. The singer (Marília Mendonça) had a big impact in Brazil and the whole world with her sertanejo songs.
She will always be remembered worldwide for her songs, which touched people’s hearts.
