                                                                TOP 3 Words I have learned this school year

- Savvy: (adjective) Wise and well informed about a certain topic (Format: x-savvy; Example: Tech-savvy).

- Sea dike: (noun) A man-made earthen structure designed to prevent floods on coastal areas.

- Niche: (noun) The ideal / appropriate position for a person, careerwise.

    The word I was most surprised about was "niche" because it does not sound like an English word. Upon further research, I have learned that niche derives from the french verb "nicher", meaning "to make a nest", thus symbolizing the comfort state that its English variant refers to.
