Harbin Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival - China

Since 1963, Harbin in northern China has hosted the annual Harbin Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival. The sculptures typically start earlier and finish later, depending on the weather, but the festival begins on January 5 and lasts for a month. Although there are sculptures all around the city, Ilha do Sol, a recreation area with several snow sculptures, and the World of Ice and Snow, which features literally life-size illuminated structures constructed of ice blocks, are the two designated sculpture hotspots.

I wish I could go to China one day and have the privilege of seeing this festival. In my opinion it is one of the most beautiful festivals ever, it seems super interesting, very beautiful and extremely creative. Just thinking about all the work it takes to create this layout, it should last longer and have much more recognition worldwide.
