Ireland
I’m going to talk about Ireland.
People first settled in this country 9000 years ago and you can find remnants of the past, from Stone Age ruins to crumbling castles to medieval streets all over the country.
Symbols of modern Ireland include vibrant cities like Dublin and Cork, unique towns and villages, and above all, the cozy pub, full of friendly locals. Visitors to Ireland will appreciate the charm of traditional music, lush valleys and the rugged Atlantic coastline.
One of the most famous monuments in Ireland is Kylemore Abbey. Founded in 1920 on the grounds of Kylemore Castle in Connemara, it is a Benedictine monastery in County Galway with an exquisite chapel and reception rooms and it is a 19th century mansion.
Bacon and Cabbage is a famous traditional dish of Ireland. It’s a recipe of boiled bacon and cabbage. The dish became popular when the Irish went to the United States. They found that the cost of pork was very expensive compared to ireland. As a result, they incorporated the bacon with cabbage which eventually became a traditional Irish dish.
The biggest and grandest festival in Ireland, St. Patrick’s Festival is a celebration that you should not miss if you’re planning to travel to Ireland. This festival which was started by the Irish government in November 1995 eventually turned into a multi-day celebration which takes place somewhere around March 17 every year. The highlight of the festival is a grand parade, lots of drinking and parties in the streets all over Ireland.
In my opinion, this is an amazing country to visit because you have an amazing culture, great food and beautiful festivities.
