Dragon Stadium - school trip
On the 20th of January, the 9ºI class visited the dragon museum and its stadium. This event occurred because of a physical education school trip for ninth-grade classes of Águas Santas school.
The visit began with a guided tour of the museum where the guide started by showing sculptures of important personalities of FC Porto, such as José Mourinho, André Vilas Boas, and other managers and presidents of the club.
Then we were shown the evolution of the club from its birth 28 September 1893 to the present day. We also saw the major FC Porto trophies and the most iconic goals. The last part of the museum displayed a field with players and a screen showing some players' amazing moves.
After the Museum, there was a giant screen that showed us a film with various special effects and images related to FC Porto. After the movie, we visited the stadium where we went to see the footballers’ changing rooms, the VIP presidential boxes, where you can only watch the games if you are invited by the president, the pitch and the bench – the place where the subs and the coach sit during the game.
