Film Review - Clouds (2020)
The movie "Clouds",
directed by Justin Baldoni, starring Fin Argus, Neve Campbell and Sabrina
Carpenter, was released in October 2020, on the streaming platform Disney+.
Young musician Zach Sobiech
discovers he has only a few months to live due to terminal cancer. With little
time left, he pursues his dream and records an album, not knowing that he would
soon become an internet phenomenon. Thus, music gives a new meaning to Zach's
life, helping him find the perfect way to say goodbye: a song that will be
heard around the world.
I had no idea what to expect
from this movie. I hadn't seen the trailer or any kind of teaser but decided to
watch it when it appeared on the "new releases" part of the Disney+
homepage. "Clouds" is a rollercoaster in the best way
possible. It's a mix of emotions of every kind. You cry both happy and sad
tears.
For me the best part of this
film is the soundtrack. Of course the film is mostly about music, but the
contrast of the upbeat songs with the emotional scenes is certainly a genius
move.
I recommend this movie to
everyone but remember to have a tissue box near while watching it.
