DID YOU KNOW? NOW YOU KNOW.
Normally, deserts are known to have a low precipitation.
The first snowfall was in 1979…and it lasted for one hour straight!
In 2018, the Sahara Desert was basically covered with white snow….but the snow only lasted for a day before melting under the hot sun.
It’s really interesting and I wouldn’t imagine this happening… a desert of snow?!
Nature is full of surprises!
