TEENS and STRESS
I agree that being a teen can be hard sometimes. After all, this is a time where we become more aware of ourselves and everyone around us. We become more judgmental and have more responsibilities that can cause a lot of stress in our daily lives.
One of my main concerns as a teen, is when I
have to expose myself by doing an oral presentation at school. I usually cope
with this by thinking if stressing out does any good to me. If I get too
nervous, I won't be able to speak properly during presentations and then I will
probably get a bad mark. Controlling my breathing helps in these situations,
and talking to someone helps too.
Another concern that I have is thinking about
what I'm going to be in the future. It seems that most people I know have a
clear future ahead of them, but I don't really know what I want to be when I
grow up. Talking to my family has been helping me cope with this stress, and I
think everyone that has this problem should too. If not with your parents or
family, maybe a close friend that knows you well can help you out.
Summing up, being stressed and coping with it can be hard, but it's better to cope with other people than to suffer alone.
