Did You Know? Now You know - The hidden side of technology

Technology has evolved rapidly over the past few years, drastically transforming human lives. However, behind our modern devices, there are many interesting facts that most people don’t know.

The first electronic computer, known as ENIAC, was enormous, weighing over 27 tons and occupying an entire room. Today, this massive machine has been surpassed by smartphones, which are now more powerful than the computers used to send humans to the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission.

One of the many curious facts is that more than 90% of the world’s currency exists only in digital form.

Some technological terms have curious origins, for example, the word “bug” comes from a real insect that once caused a malfunction in a computer system. Despite technological advances, security remains a challenge, as “123456” continues to be one of the most commonly used passwords worldwide.

In my point of view, technology is not only about innovation and progress, but it is also full of unexpected stories and fascinating details.
