Sonic, the hedgehog - review

“Sonic, the hedgehog” is a comedy, adventure, video game adaptation of SEGA. It was released in 2020 and it was directed by Jeff Fowler and many other studios as Paramount Pictures. 

The main characters are Tom Wachowski, Dr. Robotnik and Sonic, played by James Marsden, Jim Carrey, respectively, and Ben Shwartz , who just did the voice of the last since he was done by CGI. The plot begins on another world, when Sonic, an anthropormophic blue hedgehog with speed powers, is attacked and needs to come to our Planet through a portal. But what he doesn’t know is that he can’t go back home. Then, years later, in a village named Green Hill, he sees a sheriff, named Tom, and idolizes him. Unfortunately, one night, the hedgehog  is very sad, because he is always alone; so, he starts running wildly, but accidentally initiates a eletromagnetic pulse what causes a power outage across Pacific Northwest. That event attracts the attention of mad roboticist and science genius Dr. Robotnik that wants to catch him. After that, Sonic tries to return home again, but one more time, something goes wrong.

Despite being a live action, the animation is incredible. Besides, the soundtrack is fantastic, because those who know Sonic are instanly brought to the game.

Finally, I truly recommend this film to everyone, especially for families, because they will enjoy and share a lot of laughs together. I rate it 5 out of five stars."
