There are many pluses in reusing clothes. It can be a question of identity, by choosing unique pieces and then mix them to create your own style. It's a way to create your character and show your personality.
An ecological wardrobe can also be the reason to visit a second hand store. Fast fashion industries are extremely pollutant. So, if you reflect about it, wearing recycled clothes can help to save the environment.
Now about solidarity, that is fashionable! You can offer your clothes to resell and help improve the lives of people in difficulty in your community.
Lastly, quality and low price is every teens' dream. In a second hand store, you can buy clothes in good conditions and at a super low price. You can also sell your clothes through the Internet and end up getting quite a bit of pocket money.
So you see, you can still catwalk your day even wearing reused clothes.

Reading is an important element in life for various reasons.

Books offer knowledge about other worlds. For example, one story allows us to travel to many places, imaginary or even real. They stimulate our imagination. By reading a narrative, we open dreams' doors, which makes us more creative.
The characters and their purpose in the story present topics to think and talk about, so people can sharpen their communication skills.
Good books are not only great models for developing written expression but also for enriching our vocabulary. Reading changes our way of argumenting.
Books can transform the life of human beings. It's something that can persuade the most different readers.

Film Review- Corpse Bride

The film “Corpse Bride", directed by Tim Burton in 2005, is considered a masterpiece of stop-motion animation due to its unique aesthetic and captivating story that mixes elements of dark fantasy with unusual romance.

The performances are incredible, Johnny Depp plays Victor Van Dort with a vulnerability and sensitivity that touches the heart and Helena Bonham Carter, as Corpse Bride, perfectly balances sadness and hope in their magnificent performance together, demonstrating an incredible chemistry that makes the love between them captivating. The animations are incredible too, the small details receive special attention! The sets and costumes are very well done, the dark and intense colors contrast with more vibrant moments and create a charming atmosphere.

In short, "Corpse Bride” is an animation that is worth watching for its aesthetic beauty and emotional depth. I really recommend it to everyone who likes animation! On a scale of 0 to 5, I obviously give it 5 stars.

Gilmore Girls - TV show Review

"Gilmore Girls" is a perfect comedy-drama series. It was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and was released in October 5, 2000 by The WB. Gilmore Girls had 7 seasons.

The main characters are Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel). The main focus of the program is the relationship between single mother Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory, who live in Stars Hollow, Connecticut, a small fictional town with very peculiar characters. The series explores family, romantic, educational and friendship issues, along with divisions of social classes. The last theme is about Lorelai's difficult relationship with her high society parents, Emily and Richard, Rory's experiences at an elite school and later at Yale University.

In my opinion, the actors' performances is incredible and super realistic. Furthermore, the soundtrack and wardrobe are related to the series, that is, they are appropriate to the situations.

For me, this will always be my comfort TV show and that's why I recommend it to everyone, especially to everyone who likes a good comedy/drama like I do. I rate this series 5 out of 5 stars.

Sonic, the hedgehog - review

“Sonic, the hedgehog” is a comedy, adventure, video game adaptation of SEGA. It was released in 2020 and it was directed by Jeff Fowler and many other studios as Paramount Pictures. 

The main characters are Tom Wachowski, Dr. Robotnik and Sonic, played by James Marsden, Jim Carrey, respectively, and Ben Shwartz , who just did the voice of the last since he was done by CGI. The plot begins on another world, when Sonic, an anthropormophic blue hedgehog with speed powers, is attacked and needs to come to our Planet through a portal. But what he doesn’t know is that he can’t go back home. Then, years later, in a village named Green Hill, he sees a sheriff, named Tom, and idolizes him. Unfortunately, one night, the hedgehog  is very sad, because he is always alone; so, he starts running wildly, but accidentally initiates a eletromagnetic pulse what causes a power outage across Pacific Northwest. That event attracts the attention of mad roboticist and science genius Dr. Robotnik that wants to catch him. After that, Sonic tries to return home again, but one more time, something goes wrong.

Despite being a live action, the animation is incredible. Besides, the soundtrack is fantastic, because those who know Sonic are instanly brought to the game.

Finally, I truly recommend this film to everyone, especially for families, because they will enjoy and share a lot of laughs together. I rate it 5 out of five stars."

Outer Banks

"Outer Banks" is an American television series that was released on April 15, 2020. It has 4 seasons.

The series revolves around a group of working-class teenagers, known as the "Pogues," who become involved in a treasure hunt related to the disappearance of one of the main character's father, John B.

During the search, the group faces conflicts with the "Kooks," the wealthy elite of the area, while confronting mysteries, betrayals, and a series of dangers. The series addresses themes such as friendship, loyalty, youthful love, and the social divisions between the rich and the poor. Throughout the seasons, the characters delve into their personal stories while uncovering secrets that connect their families to the past of the region.

The group of teenagers, the "Pogues," consist of John B. Routledge, who is the protagonist of the series; Sarah Cameron, who was a "Kook" but became a "Pogue" due to her romance with John B; Pope Heyward, who is considered the smart one in the group and has an unstable family; Kloe is Pope's girlfriend and is considered a very intelligent and brave person; Kiara Carrera, regarded as the environmentalist and loyal friend, who is also a "Kook" just by family affiliation; and JJ Maybank, the rebel and fun member of the group, who has the least family support, like the protagonist John B.

Then we have the "Kooks," starting with Sarah Cameron, who begins the series as a Kook, but later becomes one of the main characters and develops a relationship with John B while befriending the Pogues. Topper is Sarah's ex-boyfriend and one of the wealthiest Kooks; he displays a possessive attitude. Rafe Cameron, who is Sarah's brother, becomes involved in various problematic activities. Wheezie Cameron is the younger sister of Rafe and Sarah, and finally, Ward Cameron, the father of Sarah, Rafe, and Wheezie, is one of the villains of the story, involved in questionable activities.

I recommend this series as it teaches valuable lessons about friendship and loyalty, emphasizing that in order to achieve a dream, one must have focus, determination, and courage. It also conveys that it is never too late to address the consequences of actions, among other themes. I would give it 5 stars!

Cyberspace power

Is the use, or to be more precise, the power of the social networks troubling nowadays?

This question has pros and cons.

Let's start with the negative side. In reality, we make most of our technological equipments our companions with which we cannot live without, exactly like how we make the Internet our home.

Social networks, like Facebook, Instagram, X are social communication networks, that we use quite frequently. In my point of view, it can also make us "turn off" from the real life world, meaning, living in a sound proof bubble.

However, the social networks also have positive aspects. Knowing that, it contributes for important changes, namely through the manifestation of ideas and the connection of people.

Finally, social networks present two perspectives. It is up to each one of us to make a responsible use of them.

When we talk about the best show of all time, I say "Breaking Bad" without thinking twice. "Breaking Bad" is a great action series with a lot of drama. It was directed by Vince Gilingan (an amazing writer and producer) and released in 2008 on American Movie Classics ( AMC).

The main character Walter White (Bryan Cranston) enters the world of crime after finding out he has a cancer. He and his partner Jesse (Aaron Paul) will go through the most dangerous and biggest adventures you can imagine. There's just so much to sink your teeth in. Every situation feels like life or death. There are 5 long seasons for you to watch.

Trust me, this is amazing and addictive. I wish I could watch it for the first time again. That was one of the best experiences of my life.

I recommend it to everyone because it teaches you that drugs have got two sides… death or prison.

Film Review: IT. The Thing

The film IT: The Thing was released in 2017. It is an Horror/Mystery film. It was directed by Andy Muschietti.

The main characters of the film are played by Bill Skarsgard (as Pennywise), Jaeden Martell (as Bill Denbrough), Finn Wollfhard (as Richie Tozier) and Jeremy Taylor (as Ben Hanscom). The film is set in Derry in USA, where a group of friends find an abandoned house with was a scary and killer clown in it. They fight with him but things go wrong and there are a lot of plot twists. The film explores a mystery with some horror and the importance of the friendships.

The actors performance was so incredible and entertaining. Besides, the special effects were really great and so impressive, the blood looks real as well as the dead bodies and all the details.

I believe the flim is a best-seller. I highly recommend it for those who love horror and mystery. I rate it 4 out of five stars.
